Renting a mobile sauna is one of the easiest ways to try real sauna culture without building one in your backyard. Prices vary a lot, though, and the cheapest quote isn’t always the best deal. Here’s what mobile sauna rentals cost in Northwest Ohio, what affects the price, and what to ask before you book.

What affects the price
1. Rental length
Hourly sessions are the cheapest way to try a sauna. Multi-day rentals give you the most sauna time. Plenty of people use it two or three times a day once it’s in the driveway.
2. Delivery distance
Most companies include delivery within 10–20 miles, then charge around $2–$6 per mile. NFinite delivers free within 10 miles of Perrysburg. That covers Rossford, Maumee, Northwood, Walbridge and parts of Toledo. Farther out, we quote the delivery fee up front.
3. Firewood
A wood-fired sauna burns through a good amount of wood over a day. Some companies build it into the price and others sell it as an add-on. With NFinite, firewood comes free with hourly sessions. For day rentals you can add our bundle or bring your own dry, untreated wood (pieces no longer than 13 inches and no wider than 5 inches).
4. Cold plunge and extras
Cold plunge tubs, showers, robes and whisks are common add-ons. A cold plunge usually adds $50–$60.
5. Deposits, cleaning and cancellation fees
Expect a security deposit or card hold. These usually run $150–$500. Some companies also charge cleaning fees, card fees or tax on top. Always ask what the final total will be.
Questions to ask before you book
- How many people fit, and is it a wood-fired or electric/infrared sauna?
- Is firewood included? How much?
- What’s the delivery radius and fee to my address?
- How big is the deposit, and when do I get it back?
- What’s the cancellation policy?
- What space do I need, and do I need power or water?
Is renting worth it?
A quality outdoor barrel sauna can cost thousands of dollars to buy and install. Renting lets you host a sauna party, recover after a big race or simply find out whether you love it, without the commitment. For a lot of families, a weekend rental turns into a yearly winter tradition.
